We're a CIC. The club runs on the people around it. Here's every way to be one of them.
Programmes
Beyond the barbell
The club runs more than training sessions. These are the programmes that sit around it.
See the sessions- ALN NetworkThe Applied Learning Network CIC, which Zoe co-founded. It connects community organisations improving lives through sport and physical activity, so clubs like ours can share what works. Launching summer 2026 at aln.org.uk.
- Summer campHoliday sessions for young people, booked through eequ.org.
- Cups & CakesCoffee mornings, crafts and a monthly D&D club for the SEND community. More.
- Curiosity CaféA room full of women building things together, at the end of every month. See what it is.
End of every month
Curiosity Café
Incredible minds, bold ideas and pure inspiration in one room. Women from across Sunderland come together at the club, share what they are working on, and leave with something started.
Around the collaboration wall people write what they can offer and what they need. On the opportunity board, share, support, succeed. Several projects are already underway because of connections made around these tables.
It runs at the end of every single month. Places are limited, so message us to get on the guest list for the next one.
